Synopsis
Cat lives in an antique wooden cabinet with his devoted friend Mouse. There is an apple orchard on the fringes of the old town. But this autumn, while Cat is picking apples, things turn out differently. All of a sudden a strange egg rolls into the orchard.
Sinossi
Gatto vive in un antico armadio in legno con il suo devoto amico Topo. C’è un meleto ai margini della città vecchia. Ma questo autunno, mentre Gatto raccoglie le mele, uno strano uovo rotola nel frutteto.

Reinis Kalnaellis
Reinis Kalnaellis (1986, Riga) has been studying Filmmaking, Media and Social Sciences at Baltic Film and Media school. He has created several short student films as his research in film and course assignments. During his study year 2007/2008 he went to study in FAMU film school in Prague as a cinematography student. The short film When Apples Roll is his debut in animation.

Reinis Kalnaellis
Reinis Kalnaellis (1986, Riga) ha studiato cinema, media e scienze sociali alla Baltic Film and Media School. Da studente ha realizzato numerosi cortometraggi. Tra il 2007 e il 2008 ha studiato fotografia al FAMU, la scuola di cinema di Praga. Il cortometraggio WHEN APPLES ROLL è il suo esordio nell’animazione.
