Synopsis

The magpie Coca Cola is terribly hungry and her hunger is that of all the flock of birds meeting in the Algerian palm-grove. But a fierce law prevents the magpies from leaving their place of origin. The dog Nureddin, head of a pack of dogs from the desert, makes everyone respect the law. The Moon, who loves Cola Cola, tells her that beyond the desert there is the island of wealth and food, and it is necessary that she plucks up courage and leaves during the night. She will lead her. So Cola Cola reaches Algiers and from here she leaves for Venice. The city is beautiful and crowded with tourists, who drops grains of corn, of bird-seeds and maize. For the magpie it is sufficient to wander through the narrow Venetian streets and peck at the food scattered on the floor. Pecking is the only job required to birds in this part of the world.
