Józef Cwiertnia

Animator and director. As a director debuted in 1970 with SMUGGLER, 18 episodes of BOLEK AND LOLEK SET OUT FOR THE WIDE WORLD. He directed many episodes of other series such as REKSIO, SHAGGY THE BEAR, ADVENTURES OF BOLEK AND LOLEK and his own ADVENTURES OF DROP OF WATER, wrote screenplays for the series ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN CLIPPER, and directed some of episodes, directed and wrote screenplays for animations such as METAMORPHOSIS (1974), IDYLL (1983), ISLAND (1989). Awarded in Poznan (1973) and Bielsko-Biala (1989).
