ALYOSHA

Category: Edition 2005

Synopsis

One day, a long time ago, in the Russian city of Rostov, the fearsome army of Tugarin arrives demanding that the city surrender its gold or else suffer the wrath of their merciless warlord. In Rostov the priest has an enormous young son, Alyosha. He certainly isn’t the brightest in town, but he’s the bravest. Alyosha knows the time has come to stop Tugarin’s torment and so he gathers the city together to announce his plan: Rostov would put its gold into the cave above the city, lure the Tartars inside and close off the entrance with a huge boulder. Everything seems to goes perfectly, but the boulder rolls down the mountain, demolishes Rostov and leaves Tugarin and his army free to run away with gold. Alyosha vows to get back the gold and his good name. Joined by his uncle, his fiancée, her grandmother, a donkey and a talking horse, Alyosha experiences many adventures and faces with his enemy.
