Synopsis
The film tells, in two episodes, the mid-August and Christmas Eve of two boys in the Roman suburbs. Bove, 23, a robust physicist, seems to know everything about life and women. His friend Beijing, however, is the exact opposite: eighteen years, thin and insecure. In mid-August the Bove leaves for Rimini. The Beijing, to recover some money and reach it, decides to rob an apartment in the center. At home, however, finds Giustina, an eighty year old who lives on memories and who, a bit 'for myopia, a bit' out of desperation, exchange the thief for the nephew who never goes to find it completely transforming the situation. At Christmas, Beijing makes deliveries for a grocery store. Livia, nine years old, left alone at home, sticks to his ribs. When the boy meets two guys who owes money, incredibly Livia will be able to save him so paying his attention. Meanwhile, the Bove is captured by the charm and madness of Giordana, a woman who, betrayed by his man, first tries to take revenge and then commit suicide.
