JOHANNE PRÉGENT

After university studies in Communication, Johanne Prégent approaches the cinema by working first as a dressmaker, costume designer, assistant to the camera, assistant director and script, before moving on to the realization.
Since her first feature film "The skin and the bones", very noticed in 1987, she signs works as much for the big screen as for the television. It covers all genres, short and feature films, documentary and TV series ("Scoop", "The Intrepid", "The Great Trials", "The Orphans of Duplessis"). His films, "Les Amoureuses", "Blanche is the night", "L'île de Sable", "Skin and bones", "A breeze", "The Devil in the Body", "We walked on the moon ", have won numerous awards here and elsewhere.
She divides her time between scriptwriting, directing and teaching of filmmaking and scriptwriting at L'inis in the Ecriture de film and cinema programs as well as the "Jeu au la camera" program. Lionel-Groulx College Option-Theater and at the National Theater School. She also works as a scriptwriter for TV series and as a scriptwriter.
