SERGIO MANFIO

Director, screenwriter and theatrical actor. Founder, together with Francesco Manfio, and Artistic Director of the theater production company "Gli Some", he is the author of numerous theatrical performances for children and teenagers and of installations for the adult public. He taught at the University of Padua at the Faculty of Education Sciences. He is also the author of numerous publications and is editor of the "Idee" image education magazine. He is active in television, film and music with projects that are contaminated and in turn contaminate the theatrical sector. He has written and directed numerous television series in animation for Rai. These include "Cuccioli", "Leonardo", "Eppur si muove", "Slash: / l" and "Mini Cuccioli". Some cartoon series for children written and directed by Sergio Manfio were born from important collaborations with UNESCO: "Patrimonito's World Heritage Adventures", series on the protection of the world artistic and cultural heritage, realized with the UNESCO World Heritage Center; "A design for peace", series on the "Culture of Peace" in collaboration with the UNESCO Associate Schools network and Rai Fiction, created by animating the drawings of the children of 26 countries in the world; "H20ooohf", series on the protection of the water resources of our planet. Sergio Manfio received the UNESCO Ghandi Medal for his activity. For the television program "Ciok Junior", conceived by Gruppo Diversi, Sergio Manfio has directed over 150 short films.
