Synopsis
Gabriele, a successful forty-year-old working for an important Paris-base auctioneers, is a meticulous and wealthy man with refined tastes. But what is on the face of a perfect existence is haunted nightly by the painful return of a childhood which erupt into his dreams. The picture of an antique vase offers the pretext for a return to Italy, where he plans an act of revenge through deception. Returning to the places of childhood, now much altered, he relives with pain and anger the crucial moments of his early life: the death of his mother during the birth of his brother, the forced removal to the house of his father’s official family.

GIACOMO CAMPIOTTI
Screenwriter and director of the award-winning RAI series "Braccialetti rossi" (finalist at the EMY Awards), he is passionate about themes such as courage, self-awareness and the opportunities that lie behind the moments of crisis.
He was assistant director of Mario Monicelli ("Il Marchese del Grillo", "We hope it's a girl", "I Picari"). After shooting a series of shorts produced by Ermanno Olmi, in 1989 he made his debut with his first feature film "Corsa di primavera", which won the Giffoni Festival for best film and won many other prizes at numerous international festivals.
His second film, "Come due coccodrilli", with Giancarlo Giannini, Valeria Golino and Fabrizio Bentivoglio, is nominated as best foreign film at the Golden Globes.
He is the director of "White as milk, red as blood" taken from the bestseller of the same name. For television he works in major Italian and international series, including "ZHIVAGO", the English series with Keira Knightely and Sam Neil.
In his speech deals in an original way and with the support of films taken from his works, themes such as leadership, the construction of the group, the dynamics of interpersonal understanding, courage, self-awareness and energy and the great opportunities that they hide behind moments of crisis.
