Synopsis
In a Basque country after the end of World War II, Iciar, 8, lives with his family in a sad and repressive climate: the mother is not interested in her, her father is violent and embittered by the conditions of her land. The only happy moments she lives with her friends or when she's fantastic. Because of an illness he has to move to another country and when he returns to his country years later he will discover that nothing is as before.

ARANTXA LAZCANO
Born in Zarautz (Basque Country) at 23-iv-1949. She worked in the first years in the education area (as a teacher). After she started dubbing films. At 1986 she studied at the Zine at Bideo Eskola (School of cinema and video) in Andoain (village near Donostia-San Sebastian). At 1989 she directed their first short film in 35 mm (Maider), and for this, obtain the best price in the Cinema School. At 1992 mades Urte Ilunak (The black years).
