Synopsis
Until about the age of 7, Lorenzo Odone was a normal child. After then, strange things began to happen to him: he would have blackouts, memory lapses, and other strange mental phemonenons. He is eventually diagnosed as suffering from ALD: an extremely rare incurable degenerative brain disorder. Frustrated at the failings of doctors and medicine in this area, the Odones begin to educate themselves in the hope of discovering something which can halt the progress of the disease.

George Miller (Brisbane, March 3, 1945) is a director, screenwriter, film producer and former Australian doctor of Greek descent.
It is mainly known for having created and directed Mad Max's film tetralogy, considered a cornerstone of post-apocalyptic science fiction and action cinema. The first film of the saga, Interceptor (1979), was the film with the lowest cost and the highest grossing for twenty years, while the second, Interceptor - Il guerriero della strada (1981), is considered by public and critics among best action movies of all time. The series has influenced numerous films, comics and video games and has had an incalculable impact on mass culture, as well as being considered an integral part of Australian popular culture.
An eclectic filmmaker, Miller has worked on films ranging from fantasy comedy to drama, from horror-thriller to family-friendly films, including Ai Borders of Reality (1983), Eastwick's Witches, in his nearly forty-year career. (1987), Lorenzo's Oil (1992).
