Synopsis
Silvester, seventy-six, an old bachelor for whom the stars have no secrets, and seven-year-old Katharina, lively and curious, spend a summer together. Katharina gradually conquers the surly and unapproachable astronomer and leaves with him and her friend Veronika, of the same age as her, in search of the lost time of Sylvester. The result is a small, almost drowned dog, Egon, a lost childhood Silvester's friend and an old brass spyglass hidden in a forest cave for sixty-five years ...
