Synopsis
Teenager and his Chilean parents live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in exile, after his brother is killed by the military government in Chile. Years later, still haunted by the past, he undergoes a crisis when he learns his cousin had been arrested in Santiago, and quarrels with his family when he decides to know his country and the details of his past.

Chilean Jorge Durán has been living in Brazil since 1973 and is considered one of the most important scriptwriters in the country. He has written the screenplay of several Brazilian classic films, such as "Lúcio Flávio" (Lucio Flávio, o passageiro da agonia, 1977) and "Pixote" (1981), both directed by Hector Babenco, and "Gaijin" (1979), directed by Tizuka Yamasaki, amongst many others. As a filmmaker he directed his own screenplays "The Color of Destiny" (A Cor de seu Destino, 1986). "The Color of Destiny" was screened at Panoram of the Berlinale in 1987 and has received various awards.
