Synopsis
Giada, a child who lives in Milan with her father, spends her holidays in the Sienese countryside. The aunt receives a gift from the aunt Kiko, who, after a year, becomes a splendid horse. Nerio, a famous jockey of Siena believes that Kiko can win the Palio and for this he trains him. Mate of games and hopes of Giada is the cousin Tombolino, fond of horses and eager to become a skilled jockey. A district of Siena, adversary of the district to which Kiko belongs, using the barbarian groom, drugs the horse. Unfortunately, the first to use the runaway horse is Giada who falls and injures his back, remaining paralyzed. The father, Guido, in love with his daughter, sells all his possessions to organize an extraordinary Palio, in which he will win Kiko, mounted by Tombolino. Giada, excited by a strong joy, rises and heals.
