Synopsis
A young unemployed in Porto goes to an appointment with a girl who teaches in a nearby city. This is only the first act of a series of events that will lead to the killing of the young man by the police during a theft.

João Botelho (Lamego, 11 May 1949) is a Portuguese director and screenwriter.
He was awarded the Order of the Infant Dom Henrique, a chivalric order from Portugal. He studied at the University of Coimbra and specialized in cinema at the Escola Superior de Cinema do Conservatório Nacional. He married Leonor Pinhão with whom he had three children: Francisco Pinhão Botelho, António Pinhão Botelho and Joana Pinhão Botelho.
