BENT BARFOD
Born on 30 May 1920. Married in 1947 with Birthe f. Hestbech.
Bent Barfod was the first representative of the national service and later received a 3-year training at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts. He designed Kristeligt Dagblad, Politiken and Nationaltidende, and was also an employee of "Svikmøllen" for several years. He worked in the decoration department of Crome & Goldschmidt and later in Magasin du Nord. He worked in England, later he became free. Filmmaker on Nordisk Film in the film Money as grass (1947). 1953 theatrical painter, on Aage Stentofts Theater The New Scale, former Nørrebros Theater. He also made captions for many Danish feature films. In 1956 he founded his own production company, Barfod Film, where he worked as a producer, screenwriter, director, designer, figurative designer and background painter.
