Synopsis
Since the day the State of Israel was created, the eastern Jews, or Arab Jews, or Mizrahim have constituted a majority of the population. Yet they play a minor part in the political leadership of the country, which is West-oriented. The film shows the community?s relationships with the rest of the Jewish population of the country, as well as with the Arabs. It also shows their hope of being recognised as a cultural entity and perhaps becoming the bridge between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
