EMILIO MARSILI

Emilio Marsili (born March 3, 1919 in Vibo Valentia) is an Italian documentary filmmaker.
Marsili is one of the most prolific documentaries in Italy. He produced a large number of short films and in 1958 One Day in Europe, which received numerous awards. In 1969, his only feature film, The Boy with Light Eyes. Among his shorts were awarded The Planet Steel 1962 awards; his works have won numerous national and international awards. The steel planet was created in 1962 after a success by Luciano Emmer, Pianeta Acciao N. 2 was screened in 1963 at the Venice Film Festival.
