ORZOWEI, IL FIGLIO DELLA SAVANA

Category: Edition 1977

Synopsis
Orzowei ("he who was found"), orphaned, raised as a son by a warrior of the bellicose African tribe of Uzi, who drives him out, finds in Pau, head of the peaceful tribe of the Din, and Paul, hunter and merchant Boer , two adult friends who help her to get out of her condition of being rejected, teaching him that in a man "counts the color of the heart, not that of the skin". From a novel by Alberto Manzi, which had given rise to a popular series of telefilms (of which this is a compendium to be distributed in theaters), a dull, melancholy, repetitive film, rich only with good intentions, the last one directed by Allégret (1907-87) that in the first post-war period had done something good.
