Synopsis
Towards the end of 1944 in the hinterland of Bologna three fascists of the Republic of Salò, two soldiers of the Republican National Guard (L. Capolicchio, J. Steiner) and an auxiliary (M. Méril), took possession of a charcoal bus and they kill all passengers one by one, including Athos (L. Bonicalzi), student on his last day of school before Christmas.

GIAN VITTORIO BALDI
Gian Vittorio Baldi (Lugo, 30 October 1930) is an Italian film director and producer.
After graduating in Public Sciences, with a thesis on sound in cinematographic work, he did an internship in France where he learned the techniques of film shooting and editing. In 1954 he began working at RAI, where he remained until 1958. During this period he made a series in ten episodes, with the commentary of Silvio Negro, entitled Cinquantanni - Storia d'Italia from 1898 to 1948.
Between 1958 and 1960 he won two prizes at the Venice Film Festival in the short film sector. In 1960 he founded the Italian Institute of Documentary. In 1962 he made his debut in the feature film and founded the "IDI Cinematografica". Among the titles produced, Cronaca by Anna Magdalena Bach (1967), Porcile di Pasolini (1969) and Four Nights by a dreamer by Robert Bresson (1971).
In 1964 he was one of the promoters of the "International Association of Documentaries".
