Synopsis
During a party Adriana comes across the seductive and provocative looks of Andrea, an attractive and confident young man. She cannot escape the sensual skirmish and the two end up spending the night together. Things between them don’t end there, infact they decide to meet the next day. A stronger feeling grows rapidly in her, perhaps the beginning of what couldn’t be a great love that could change her life. The turning point arrives, but the outcome is not what she expected. The situation quickly takes a wrong turn when she becomes involved in a crime that drags her to the center of an investigation by the disturbing outlines. An unexpected scenario, which could undermine her every certainty. Without the possibility to escape, she involuntarily slips that will lead her to meet the darkest shadows of her personality.

Born in Istanbul in 1959, he moved to Rome in 1976. He studied History of Cinema at La Sapienza, History of Art and Costume at the Navona Academy and directed at the National Academy of Dramatic Art Silvio D'Amico. After some experiences in theater with Julian Beck's Living Theater, he began working as assistant and assistant director to Massimo Troisi, Maurizio Ponzi, Ricky Tognazzi, Sergio Citti and Francesco Nuti. His first job as an assistant director is in Troisi’s SCUSATE IL RITARDO (1982), followed by SON CONTENTO by Ponzi. His directorial debut takes place in 1997 with IL BAGNO TURCO (HAMAM). It will be the first of a long series of successes, works loved by the public and critics and recipients of major national and international awards: HAREM SUARE (1999), IGNORANT FAIRIES (2001), FACING WINDOW (2003), SACRED HEART (2004), SATURNO IN OPPOSITION (2007), A PERFECT DAY (2008), LOOSE CANNONS (2011), FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS (2014), ISTANBUL RED (2017, from the first novel published by Ozpetek in 2013), NAPLES IN VEILS (2017).
