DONATO CARRISI
Donato Carrisi was born in Martina Franca in 1973 and lives in Rome. After studying law, he specialized in criminology and behavioral science and later became a screenwriter of television series and movies. He wrote bestselling international novels such as The Whisperer, The Lost Girls of Rome, The Hunter of the Dark and The Girl in the Fog, all published in Italy by Longanesi . He collaborates with RAI for the tv series CASA FAMIGLIA and ERA MIO FRATELLO, with Mediaset’s Taodue for series NASSIRIYA - PER NON DIMENTICARE and TEAM ANTIMAFIA - PALERMO OGGI, and he worked on MOANA for Sky. In 2014, he wrote and hosted RAI 3’s show IL SESTO SENSO. In 2017 he wrote and directed THE GIRL IN THE FOG, based on his novel, for which he won a David di Donatello in 2018. In the same year he began to teach at IULM University, where he held the course of "Genre Writing: thriller, noir, mystery”.
