YVAN ATTAL
Yvan Attal was born in Tel Aviv in 1965. He is a French actor, voice actor, director and screenwriter, and the dub-over voice artist for of Tom Cruise in the French version of many of his films. He made his debut in 1989 with the film LOVE WITHOUT PITY by Éric Rochant, which earned him a César Prize as best up and coming actor. In 2001 he made his behind the camera debut, directing the comedy MY WIFE IS AN ACTRESS, in which he starred opposite Charlotte Gainsbourg and Terence Stamp. In 2005 he starred with Sophie Marceau in the thriller ANTHONY ZIMMER by Jérôme Salle. Thanks to the film’s success, he began working internationally, acting first in THE INTERPRETER by Sydney Pollack and later in MUNICH by Steven Spielberg. In 2009, he was seen in LEAVING, the film starring Kristin Scott Thomas and Sergi López. In 2012 he directed and acted in DO NOT DISTURB, remake of the US mumblecore film HUMPDAY.
