Kari Klyve-Skaug is a Norwegian filmmaker. She has made documentaries and shortfilms selected for several international festivals in Europe, USA and India, and for TV. Her video work has been selected for the National Art Exhibition, Norway and for Les Rencontres Internationales, Paris.

ODVEIG KLYVE
Odveig Klyve was born in 1954; she studied film and media, and has attended various directing courses as well as the Academy of Creative Writing in Bergen. She has also studied social subjects at Stavanger University College. Klyve is both a director and an author, and has directed several short films - including TRE MIL OVER GANGEN (THREE MILES ACROSS THE HALL, 1978), PAPER GLIDER (1995), DISTANCE (1997) and SEVEN SONGS OF BECOMING (2006) - in addition to publishing 19 books (poems, short stories, children's books), and being published in several anthologies. Several of her poems have even been published on the sides of busses and trams, and on the walls of subway-stations in Oslo. Her films have been screened at numerous festivals across the globe, and her books and poems have been translated to several languages.
