Giffoni's Cittadella del Cinema becomes tinged with green and gold.   At Giffoni Experience arrives the Ipanema Show Do Brazil ensemble, the most thrilling show company in South America, which is opening the first musical night with a colorful and engrossing parade featuring  the Santarè Brasil Show too. A tribute to the partnership between Giffoni Experience and Brazil which last January led to the Giffoni Sao Paulo Film Festival event. The Ipanema Show do Brazil started in 1990 after “Ipanema”, one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, which is also mentioned in the famous song “Girl from Ipanema” by Tom Jobim. There will be the typical and colourful dances of the Brazilian tradition, with 40 different costumes made of glittering fabric, feathers, strass and sequin,  which will play a part in making a unique event.   The 8:00 pm parade, starting from Cittadella del Cinema, will be followed at 21:00 by the much anticipated Brasiliando show, to be performed in the setting of Campo Comunale Troisi (stadium). There will be the rhythm of Rio de Janeiro Samba, of the Northern states Frevo and Forrò and, last but not least, the Afro, the Axé, the Capoeira, the Orixas and the Maculele coming from Bahia. The dance company is made up of 6 young professional dancers, together with a few Capoeira masters.
