Young, talented and European. 10 actors selected in the15th edition of "Shooting Stars 2012", the event to be held in Berlin from February 11 to February 13 by the European Film Promotion. 

Five of these actors were among the protagonists of films screened in Giffoni: German actress Anna Maria Muhe ( "Big Girl Don't Cry", 2003), Jakub Gierszal (Poland), one of the main characters of the GFF 2011 winner "My Suicide" in Generator +16, Ana Ullaru (Romania), the protagonist of "Outbound" at GFF 2011 in Generator +18, Bill Skarsgard (Sweden), protagonist of two GFF 2011 films, "Simple Simon" (Generator +16) and "Behind the Blue Skies" (preselection), Max Hubacher (Switzerland), protagonist of two pre-selection films in the GFF 2011, "Bold Heroes" (remake of  "Cuarta Planta" which won in Giffoni in 2005) and "The Foster Boy". During the event the young stars will be able to meet with people of the industry and the International press. The award ceremony of the Shooting Stars will take place during the 62nd edition of the Berlin Film Festival, from 9 to 19 February 2012. 

Among the Italian artists to receive an award: Isabella Ragonese, a Giffoni Film Festival Award winner in 2010.
