Valeria Fascione, regional councillor for Research, Innovation and Start Up launches, along with Giffoni, an important challenge from the Cittadella del Cinema: “Campania region has to become an international hub of digital transformation and innovation. We own intelligence, talents, energy, creativity, insight and pragmatism to achieve this aim as well as the political and community duty to project us towards this dimension”. From this point of view, the team spirit is fundamental. This is not a matter of course and, above all, it’s the demonstration of how our region is really an open and collaborative platform that operates in communion of intents. Only in this way we can go the distance”. And Giffoni Film Festival is indented to go the distance more each day.

Born from an idea of Claudio Gubitosi, it has already become, in its first fifty-two years of life, a place unique in the world where young people can see first-hand their dreams and live them with the heart. “Giffoni is an extraordinary reality with an outstanding energy – Fascione said –. It demonstrates, from the very beginning, a great ability to open up to the future and its challenges, to take up and win these challenges without ever failing to the values of inclusion, friendship, solidarity, fraternity that have inspired it from the beginning. It has an evident strategic vision of the future and the ability to create bridges of dialogue with this future. Along with Giffoni we will work especially for the valorization of the best creative talents”.
