Amazon Prime Video and Notorious Pictures offered a sneak peek of the first images of Fabio Mollo’s film Anni da cane (Dog Years). “It is a crazy and wild story about those young people who are a bit strange and peculiar”, Mollo explained to the jurors of Elements +13, who welcomed him in the Sala Truffaut together with young actresses Aurora Giovinazzo and Marta Losito.

“Anni da cane – Mollo said – is the first Italian film produced by Amazon Original, and is a slightly bitter comedy. It tells the story of Stella, a teenager who is 112 years old”. Following an accident, she begins to change her way of seeing life, living it like a dog and therefore counting her years like a dog. "Working with Amazon and Notorious was really important for me. From the very beginning they monitored all the artistic elements of the film, whether it was the script, the cast or the music. The whole team worked to make Anni da cane a unique experience”.

Amazon and Notorious were also thanked by director Claudio Gubitosi, who emphasised his “pride” in premiering at Giffoni the images of “Amazon’s first real production in Italy”. The two actresses were thrilled to be present at Giffoni: “It’s an incredible feeling. It is our first time here, this is a beautiful festival". And to the Giffoners they said: “You have to believe. If you have a dream and you want to make it come true, you can do it”.
