Watch out, the villains are back: DC Comics summer blockbuster The Suicide Squad, to be released in cinemas from August 5, was premiered at #Giffoni50Plus in all its madness. Before the screening, Joel Kinnaman greeted the giffoners with a hearty “Ciao Italia!”. This second chapter sets the bar higher in terms of spectacularity in Belle Reve prison, where the most terrible criminals are kept. Masterfully directed by James Gunn, the villainous anti-heroes join a mysterious association called Task Force X, which recruits them in exchange for freedom. Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Peacemaker (John Cena), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Ratcatcher 2 (Daniela Melchior), Savant (Michael Rooker), King Shark (Sylvester Stallone), Blackguard (Pete Davidson) and, of course, the Joker’s longtime ex-girlfriend Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) team up in their own way, without limits or rules. 100% pure fun.
