The Minister Pisano encourages the Dream Team: “Never stop going on”

A journey through the giffoners’ talent. A double meeting, the discovery of innovative projects of Dream Team first, and then the exploring of the sharp curiosity of Giffoni Impact. Paola Pisano, Minister for Technological Innovation and Digitalisation, did not hide her admiration for the vibrant ideas of the giffoners.

In the Giffoni Innovation Hub-Next Generation 2020 coworking room, the Minister talked with the startuppers (among which Domenico Benvenuto, the first giffoner who carried out the research that rebuilt the structure of Covid-19). And not only that: he attended the presentation of many projects of the Dream Team, a team of 15 innovators from Campania aged between 18 and 30, who worked for the creation of different projects featuring some of the partners of Giffoni, including Bayer and Bper.

Congratulations to all the teams that presented the projects. You were amazing. I heard so many interesting and beautiful ideas. It is so nice to see the willingness of the kids to solve problems and the way you talked about the solutions to the problems”. Therefore, a piece of advice: “Never stop going on even in case of setbacks. They will tell you that you cannot do it, but the truth is that things can be done. What you need is a good team, good relations and people who really believe in it”.

Minister Pisano’s journey continued together with the kids of Giffoni Impact. A thought went to the future, considering the health emergency we are experiencing: “We have the potential to be a competitive country and face the challenges of globalisation. Of course - Pisano said - the pandemic brought us to our knees. But we have the opportunity that Europe is giving us: 209 billion Euros to spend in order to raise ourselves and improve what can be improved”.
