Skam Italia at #Giffoni50

The actors of Season 4 will meet the jurors on August 20. Director Bessegato is also set to join the Q&A

SKAM Italia is set to return to the Giffoni Film Festival. After last year’ successful turn it will be back on 20 August with the protagonists of Season 4 which recently aired on TIMVISION and Netflix.
The Generator +16 e +18 jurors will have the oportunity to talk to director Ludovico Bessegato and actors Ibrahim Keshk, Pietro Turano and Beatrice Bruschi, who plays the lead charachter Sana, in the latest season. Beatrice Bruschi plays a bright Muslim girl torn between her strict upbringing and her lighthearted approach to the westen world way of life.
Sexuality, adolescence, racism, are just some of the topics addressed by the successful TV series, exported all over the world, thanks to a storyline which is counterbalanced by different plots.
Created by Bessegato and produced by Cross Productions – TIMVISION, the Italian series is part of the Skam“franchise” inspired by the Norwegian series produced in 2015.
Among the actors  Beatrice Bruschi, In 2011 she took part in "Sketch up", a comic television program for children on Disney channel, approaching cinema in 2018 with her appearance in the film "Caos Calmo" by Antonello Grimaldi Beatrice She has been a regular in SKAM Italia since 2018.
Pietro Turano who plays Filippo detto Filo. In 2015 the first starring role in the short "Il re della collina" and the participation in the documentary "Tutti Fuori" by Massimo Latini, presented at the Turin Film Festival. The following year, the first theatrical debut together with Dante Antonelli, with which he will debut again in October 2019 in the frame of the RomaEuropa Festival for "Atto di adorazione". Since 2018, he has been in the cast of SKAM Italia, a remake of the Norwegian series of the same name and among the most loved Italian series in the world. Pietro is an activist committed to LGBT + rights as Arcigay national councilor and Vice President of Arcigay Rome where he mainly deals with young people, schools and universities, health and international relations. He is also part of the staff of Gay Center, Gay Help Line and Lazio Pride
Actor Ibrahim Keshk, will also be in Giffoni. In Skam he plays Rami, Sana’s brother. He began to be an actor by chance, when in 2017 he was called to audition for the short film "Sette Passi" by Matteo Graia, for which he was chosen and which earned him the prize for best actor at the Rome Creative Contest.
Since then he has taken part in several video clips of Italian artists such as "Argentario" by Carl Brave x Franco 126, directed by Francesco Lettieri, and in the series directed by Cinzia TH Torrini "Pezzi unici".
In 2019 he joined the cast of the fourth season of "SKAM - Italy".
Ludovico Bessegato, showrunner foe Cross Productions is also set to come back to Giffoni. Bessegato has contributed to creating and realizing various long-range products for Rai, Mediaset, Netflix, Timvision, some of which have been translated and distributed worldwide.
Since 2018 he is the creator, director and screenwriter of Skam Italia (Netflix, Timvision, awarded with the Giffoni Experience Award 2019).
Among the main titles followed as creative producer, we mention Il Cacciatore (Raidue, awarded at Cannes Series 2018 for the best male performance), Rocco Schiavone (Raidue, Best Series of the year Roma Fiction Fest 2016), Una Grande Famiglia (Raiuno, best Fiction of the year Rome Fiction Fest 2012).
