#Giffoni50: Benedetta Porcaroli to receive the Explosive Talent Award on august 27

We recently saw her in the intense and poignant role of Anna in "18 gifts", the film directed by Francesco Amato inspired by the true story of Elisa Girotto, the terminally ill woman who decides to leave her newborn daughter a gift for every for her birthday until she comes of age. But we discovered her in the role of Federica, in the 2015 TV drama "Tutto può succedere ", an Italian remake of "Parenthood" aired on Rai1. Benedetta Porcaroli, born in 1998, will be one of the protagonists of Part 2 of the Giffoni Film Festival, scheduled for August 25 to 29.
On Thursday, August 27, in fact, she will meet the jurors to tell them about herexperiences in the world of cinema, but also about herbeginnings, the anxieties and fears that accompany a young and brilliant actress in the climb to fame. It will also be an opportunity to receive the Explosive Talent Award, the recognition awarded to the best emerging Italian and international artists.
Instagram star, with over a million followers, in particular after the launch of the Netflix series "Baby" directed by Andrea De Sica and Anna Negri (the third season of show  inspired by the young prostitutes of the Parioli district will be helmed by Andrea De Sica and Lucrezia Lamartire. Filmgoers first caught a glimpse of the actress in the 2016 Paolo Genovese film "Perfect strangers", in which she plays the rebellious daughter of Kasia Smutniak and Marco Giallini: two years after director Francesco Falaschi gave her the part of Giulietta in the 2018 film "Quanto Basta". In the same year she appeared in "Sconnessi" by Christian Marazziti as Stella. 2018 is her breakthrough year: she starred  alongside Barbora Bobulova and Alessio Boni in "All my nights", presented at the Rome Film Festival.
