Deadline: on 31st March

A call to select the jurors of the GEX DOC section of #Giffoni50, scheduled from 16 to 25 July 2020. For the first time, on the occasion of the 50th edition, Giffoni Opportunity has decided to reserve a precious opportunity to all those born before July 15, 2002, allowing them to live a truly extraordinary experience: joining GEX DOC, the most recent section of the Festival born in 2014, and dedicated to an audience that welcomes young people, parents, teachers. This year the first 50 candidates who send the registration questionnaire by March 31, 2020 will have the opportunity to experience all the emotions of the festival as real jurors.

GEX DOC has slowly been able to conquer viewers with its films, true stories narrated in the form of a documentary, focused on current issues such as migration, the old and new wars afflicting the planet, the daily difficulties created by a handicap, the search for one’s own identity. Topics that, from time to time, offer new and interesting ideas for debate, reflection and comparison, contributing to knowledge and sensitivity.

What will the jurors of this section do? They will attend all the screenings of the films in competition, participating in the debates and then assigning the “Grifone” to the Best documentary. At the beginning of April, the Jury Office will send the information to all the selected candidates via email in order to regularize the registration.
