The narration of #Giffoni2019 at the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum

Monday, July 8, meeting within some of the most beautiful finds of art history to narrate the 49th edition programme

Monday, July 8, at 11:00 am, at the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum (Via Magna Graecia 917/919) #Giffoni2019 will be presented. An innovative, unconventional and evocative choice: in full Giffoni style, in fact, it will not be a traditional press conference, but rather a narration, itinerant and shared in the halls of the museum. The path will tell, step by step, the programme of the 49th edition Giffoni Film Festival, which will take place from July 19 to 27, through an atypical and intriguing narration: from the reproduction of the statue of Hera to the painting of The Diver, to finally wrap up in the auditorium.

Following is our director’s invitation for the kind press collegues:

Dear friends,
#Giffoni2019 is approaching. We are ready to present the several programmes of a project which, this year, reaches its 49th anniversary. I chose a fascinating uniquely place: The National Archaeological Museum of Paestum. In full Giffoni style, it will not be a traditional press conference, but rather a narration, itinerant and shared in the halls of the museum: The path will lead us to the painting of “The Diver”, to finally wrap up in the auditorium. We will show the complete outline of the activities, some of which already announced and partly known. We kept, however, a few very important new ones for the occasion. Through your voices, we speak to people and society: you all very well know that we never let them down. I will wait for you with the usual pleasure and with the wish of communicating to you the joy of a new great adventure. Our communication office is available for you at the following contacts: email address This email address is being protected from spambots. I will wait for you in Paestum, on Monday July 8, at 11:00 am, at the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum (Via Magna Graecia 917/919).
