"I have the same dream that Claudio has". These are the words of Mitsuo Tahira, director of the Kineko International Children's Film Festival which has been running in Tokyo for 26 years. The director of Giffoni Experience, Claudio Gubitosi; his assistant, Marco Cesaro and the head of international relations, Tony Guarino welcomed him this morning, Wednesday, May 29, in the Multimedia Valley offices. The focus of the meeting was to find a way to make the collaboration between the two events even more solid. On the occasion of the 2018 Kineko the director Gubitosi was chosen as the recipient of a honorary award for his work on Giffoni considered as a template for other festivals to follow.

Saturday 20 July, during the 49th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival, the Japanese delegation composed of Hirofumi Nomoto, president of Tokyu Corporation and among the major supporters of the Kineko International Children's Film Festival; Kazuo Takahashi, executive director of the Tokyu Corporation and Mitsuo Tahira, head of the Kineko, will meet the jurors, the local administration and be among the guests of the Masterclass Connect.

"In 2020 I would like to do something great for Giffoni - added Tahira - in the last 40 years President Nomoto has been involved in entrepreneurship, now he would like to do something socially useful. Three years ago he saw Kineko and he took to supporting us, and who he knows, he might fall in love with Giffoni too ".
