The young protagonists Chiara Francia and Tiziano Francia, together with author Marcela Citterio and producer Javier Francia, will be meeting the jurors

After conquering the young Latin American audience and after the great success of the first season, aired last April on Rai Gulp (channel 42 of the DTT), HEIDI, BIENVENIDA A CASA, is ready to win the applause of the Elements +10 jury

A special event on Tuesday, July 24, will see the protagonists of the acclaimed teen series meet the jurors of the 48th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival. In the theater, after the screening of a special second season episode, the young protagonists Chiara Francia and Tiziano Francia, together with producer Javier Francia and author Marcela Citterio, will tell about background and fun facts.

Produced by Mondo TV Iberoamerica, part of the Mondo TV group, together with Alianzas Producciones, HEIDI, BIENVENIDA A CASA is inspired by the famous novel and reinterprets it in a modern way. Citterio, in fact, is a well-known name to the pre-teen world to which the series is addressed: Yo soy Franky, Chica Vampiro and Patito Feo are among her international hits.

There are already lots of kids in love with the colorful universe made of friends, music and first loves proposed by the series. Heidi, the undisputed protagonist, is a young girl who lives free and happy in the mountains with her beloved grandfather and shares unforgettable moments with her friends Pedro, Emma and little Diego. Heidi loves animals too and does not go anywhere without her faithful friend Nicanor, a very special talking rabbit that only she can hear. She wears and makes wonderful hats, she is cheerful and upbeat: she always looks at the positive side of every situation and always has a backup plan. This will be a great advantage for her, since her life is about to change. Heidi is in fact forced to abandon her beloved mountains to go and live in the city where she is called to carry out a very important task: she will have to move to the Sesemanns’ house to help Clara heal her agoraphobia. Will Heidi’s enthusiasm and optimism be enough to cure Clara?

The charismatic and telegenic qualities of the protagonist, the very young and promising Chiara Francia - already known for Consentidos and Chica Vampiro - make the series really appealing. Together with Heidi, a universe of characters all very well portrayed, like Emma played by Mercedes Lambre, co-star in the Violeta series, Miss Rottermaier played by Florencia Benítez also in Violeta and Sueña Conmigo, Toribio who is Victorio D’Alessandro and Morena interpreted by Minerva Casero.

Thanks to the collaboration with Sony Music Italia - partner in the project for the use of musical rights - to sign and interpret the Italian TV series theme song entitled “Nel posto che vorrai” is Deborah Iurato, already a winner of Amici 2014, on the podium with Giovanni Caccamo at the 2016 Sanremo Festival and winner of the sixth edition of the Tale e Quale Show.
