Giffoni at the first Balkan Film Market, director Claudio Gubitosi: "Among the first to promote Balkan cinema"

The Balkan Film Market in Tirana (Albania) will wnd on October 7. The Balkan Film Market (BFM) is the first forum dedicated to the audiovisual market in the balkans which includes 15 enterprises looking to collaborate with the reagion. The Bfm was organized with the collaboration of  Eurimages and the National Center of Albanian Cinema on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.

Director of the Giffoni ExperienceClaudio Gubitosi, Who is among the guest speakers is expected to talk on Ocrober 6 on the occasion of the Giffoni/Albania/Macedonia triangle. “The Balkan Film Market Was selected as a strategic initiative which is capable of uniting Thousands of experts in the audiovisual sector from all over Europe and the  West Balkans - claimed Gubitosi - Giffoni was among the first to visit Albania in 1984 which was so close but yet so far and promoted its films". He continues: “Aince then we have never stopped collaborating with this country and have worked in Giffoni Albania for 11 years”.

The BFM is supported by Consiglio d’Europa in collaboration with Centre National de la Cinématographie (Cnc) in France and the Ministery of culture and Tourism in Italy.
