Four giffoners at the Four River Film Festival

"A small break made up of meetings debates and teachings". That's how the giffoners Anna Maria Iodice (16), Martino Napoli (18), Davide Nobile (18) and Antonio Paolo Piemonte (15) chaperoned by Natascia De Rosa, Head of the Giffoni Experience Jury office, described their experience at the eleventh edition of  the Four River Film Festival (Croatia).

“The journey we longed for so much finally arrived and all together we left for Karlovac, a city near the Croatian capital - they continued - where we took part in workshops and were treated to a guided visit of the ciry where the event was being held. The screening of 70 short films and the debates that followed every morning together with other 24 jurors made this experience really enjoyable and useful from a filmic and language standpoint as all the activities were carried out in English". The event is created by young people for young people with audiovisual productions targeting the 14- 20 year old audience.

“During the afternoon - the giffoners continued - there were workshops revolving around the creative process behind the production of a film. The festival also included parties, games and premieres in order to encourage interaction. The other young people we met during this occasion were great and it was amazing to be able to share our opinions with them".

The Four River Film Festival was attended by 4000 people with 200 guests from all over the world.
