THREE 'GIFFONERS' SET OUT ON A NEW EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE THANKS TO ROTARY CLUB ROUEN

Three smart Giffoners are ready to set out on a new thrilling European journey: from Saturday 6 to Friday 12 May, Sarah Alfinito (from Pellezzano), Silvia Troisi (from Giffoni Valle Piana) and Marialuisa Cesaro (from Battipaglia), chaperoned by Giusy Rago from the Giffoni Juries Office, will go to Normandy, in name of a cultural exchange organized in collaboration with Rotary Club Rouen.

The three girls will have a full schedule which include extra curricula activities, workshops and trips to discover the beautiful surroundings. They will be hosted by local families whose children have already been selected to come to Giffoni as jurors for the next Giffoni Film Festival (14- 22 July 2017).
The partnership will give them the opportunity to meet their French peers and get to know the local history and culture better, learning new habits and culture. Besides they will have the chance to go sightseeing and visit Rouen, Giverny and the wonderful home and enchanting gardens of Monet, Fécamp - one of the main sights of the Alabaster Coast - and Caen, with its tw beautiful Abbeys and the Duke's Palace.
The Exchange with the giffoners will continue in July, during the 47th Giffoni Film with the Italian girls acting as local hosts to their French peers guiding them into the Magic of Giffoni.
