"I like talking to youth about the emotions that are still key in my life after 47 years. Giffoni was born to give voice to youth and to give shape to these feelings". Giffoni Experience director Claudio Gubitosi, talked to hundreds of young students this morning during the 'Movie Days', the event addressed to school students. The Movie Days in Giffoni that started in March and will go on until May, have seen Thousands of students coming to Giffoni to enjoy film and talk about several issues.

"I was 18 years old when I started pursuing my dream – continued Gubitosi - it has taken years of great determination, work and resolution but finally we can now celebrate the Giffoni Multimedia Valley, the place that will host and welcome start-ups and talented young people. If you have ideas and entrepreneurial skills you will find your home here". he then went on to stimulate kids: "When you are growing up ideas are very important you must persevere to make them come true. With ambition and curiosity you can enhance your dream".

Since the beginning of March schools from the whole region have attended the Movie Days in Giffoni. Students have had the chance to exchange opinionn and to talk with various gusts about several topics relevant to them, from cyberbullying, to the environment, past and current wars, refugees, integrations and racism. The students usually see two films: "Ma Révolution" by Ramzi Ben Sliman and "Abel – Brothers of the Wind" by Gerardo Olivares and Otmar Penker are just two of the films that students have been able to see.
"I identified in "Ma Révolution" – explained Gianmaria Maione, 11. Over the years I have often moved to various cities. After watching the film I feel less lonely, I know I am not the only one who has had to leave friends and loved ones behind, starting all over again every single time. There is also a silver lining to the story: meeting new people. Giffoni is a learning curve for me".
Teachers too have had a very positive impression of the Movie Days: "I found the discussion very positive – stated Vittoria Battipaglia, young people are used to watching a lot of stuff, they strem a lot; films and TV series however they are always behind a screen and have little opportunties to exchange opinion. Giffoni was a great opportunity for them to do just that, speak and challenge each other".

The Movie Days will end in May. 23 days of film, confrontation, exchanging opinion and coming together in the name of film, art and cultural development.
