Best known for his role as the mutant Quicksilver in the X-Men franchise films, for his multiple roles in the FX Anthology series American Horror Story, where he stars alongside Lady Gaga, and for his part in controversial TV series Pose, Evan Peters discussed his careers and much more during his visit at Giffoni 2019, where he also received the EXPERIENCE AWARD. “These youth are really amazing: well-mannered and as thrilled to have me here as I am to be attending this festival. I saw them all smiling and very prepared. You could tell their questions were well thought out. And I want to stay here, I don’t feel like going back home”.
After answering the questions coming from the youth, Evans asked how many would like to act, direct or write a screenplay and the jurors, holding their hands up, named in a sole roar the cities where they would like to attend film schools. While on stage, Peters even tried to test himself with Italian language: “Grazie, vi amo” (“Thank you, I love you”), he remarked cheering up the crowd. In the morning, during the Meet The Stars, the Giffoners had fun and got very emotional: a girl gifted him with a portray of him, and the 32-year-old American actor ran out of breath.
Peters confirmed he won’t star in the next season of TV series American Horror Story: “No worries, though – he added – I will keep following it as a spectator”. The greatest upcoming project is the biopic I Am Woman: “I can’t wait to see the final outcome – he confessed – because I’m very proud of it.” Any dreams? “Being back in Deadpool, where I appeared in a cameo. And I would also like to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe”, he concluded.
