BIOGRAPHY

Gabriella Pession was born in Florida in 1977, and spent most of her childhood in the USA. She then moved to Milan where she studied figure skating which continues to be one of her great passions.

When she auditioned for Mediaset TV series Amiche davvero!! she made a huge impression by talking about Hegel and got the role. In 1999 Lina Wertmüller cast her as the co-protagonist in costume comedy Ferdinando e Carolina. She then went on to act in Storia d’amore e d’anarchia (2002), alongside Giuliana De Sio work staged by Lina Wertmuller.

Nonetheless the big break came thanks to two roles she played in TV series Orgoglio (2003-2005) in which she played spiteful Elisa Deodato and Capri (2005-2008) where she played psychologist Vittoria Mari. On the silver screen she played comedy roles alongside Carlo Verdone in L'amore è eterno finché duraL'uomo perfetto with Riccardo Scamarcio, and a more dramatic role alongside former mafia don Giancarlo Giannini in Milano Palermo - Il ritorno. In Ex - Amici come prima! she played Valentina a woman who thinks she is seeing a psychologist but is only being cured by the man who has fallen for her played by Ricky Memphis.

In 2012 show-runner Edward Allen Bernero, author of TV series Criminal Minds, cast her as Eva Vittoria in TV series Crossing Lines shot in Paris, Nice and Prague. The series is about an anti crime unit specialised in serial offences in Europe. The series has been aired in over 80 Countries across the globe: including Italy and the States where the show has been aired on NBC.

In 2016 she has played Daria, a dark lady in TV series Il sistema (2016) by Carmine Elia in which she seduces an undercover police officer Claudio Gioè, infiltrated in a mob. In July she willl stop shooting in “La verità di Anna”, the new work by Carlo Lucarelli, author and creator of  crime series “L’ispettore Coliandro” and “Il commissario De Luca”.
