Lillo & Greg are one of the most versatile and popular comedy double acts in Italy. Pasquale Petrolo and Claudio Gregori met while working as comic strip creators at publishing company ACME in Roma. After quitting the job they put up a comic rock band called Latte & i Suoi Derivati. They made their stage debut in 1994 with comedy 5740170 - 06 per chi chiama da fuori Roma, however the big break came in 1997 when they joined cult programme 'Le Iene'. From that moment they have starred in many TV programmes such as L'Ottavo Nano and Parla con Me - and made their silver screen break in Neri Parenti's film. Lillo was also in Paolo Sorrentino,'s oscar award winner 'The Great Beauty' for best foregin film in 2014. In 2013 they hosted David di Donatello 2013.
Music has always been the glue to hold the double act together: In 2005 Lillo e Greg wrote together and staged musical comedy The Blues Brothers – Il plagio, and in 2011 they were guests at the Festival di Sanremo. In 2015 they have started touring with La fantastica avventura di Mr. Starr and Il Mistero dell'Assassino Misterioso, which they wrote together in 2000.
