Marco Mattolini (Florence, 15 December 1950) is an Italian director and screenwriter. He debuts as theatrical director with "Kiss of the Spider Woman" by Manuel Puig. In 1981/1982 season he directs two shows starring Mario Caccia: "Nerone" by Carlo Terron and "The School for Wives" by Molière. In 1982/1983, he stages the shows "Corto Maltese" and "Marta e il Cireneo". In 1984 he made his cinema directorial debut with "Il mistero del Morca", with whom he won the 1985 Ischia Award for Best New Director. In 1985 he direct and screenplay "E ricchissimo diventerai", a RAI2 telefilm, and "Bent" by Martin Sherman for theatre.
