Synopsis
The film is articulated according to a narrative choice that winds through monothematic chapters, assembling the interviews together (a total of fifteen, selected from more than 50) and/or Sordi's speeches with the newsreel services and related unpublished gags, backstage and vintage up-sound related to the same theme. As in our intentions, the use of clips taken from films was also extremely limited: in the 70-minute duration of the film, less than five are taken from the films interpreted by Sordi. To be precise, short pieces from I VITELLONI by Federico Fellini (1953), COUNT MAX by Giorgio Bianchi (1957), WHILE THERE'S WAR THERE'S HOPE by Alberto Sordi (1974) and from the episode LE VACANZE INTELLIGENTI directed by Alberto Sordi from the movie WHERE ARE YOU GOING ON HOLIDAY?, 1978 (directed with Luciano Salce and Mauro Bolognini).
