Synopsis
Lucky is a young mother, a private hairdresser dreaming one day to open her own shop to give dignity and stability to her life and that of her eight-year-old daughter. She is alone, with a failed marriage behind her, and she lives in a present of difficulties and sorrows. But she is ready to challenge her fate in an effort to gain her right to happiness.

SERGIO CASTELLITTO Born in 1953, he is an actor, director and screenwriter. His career begins in theater. In 1982 he debuted as an actor in the movie IL GENERALE DELL'ARMATA MORTA by Luciano Tovoli with Marcello Mastroianni. During his career, he has worked with Ettore Scola, Vittorio Gassman, Stefania Sandrelli, Mario Monicelli, Giuseppe Tornatore and Marco Bellocchio. In 1999 he directed his first film: LIBERO BURRO. In 2004 he directed and starred DON’T MOVE. His following film as director are: LOVE & SLAPS (2010), TWICE BORN (2012), YOU CAN’T SAVE YOURSELF ALONE (2015) and LUCKY. All of them were written with his wife Margaret Mazzantini. Currently he is working on a new film A BOOKSHOP IN PARIS.
