Susy Laude

After attending the linguistic-scientific high school and having graduated from the University of Parma in Entertainment, Susy Laude graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art “Silvio D’Amico” in Rome. She also trained in dance and joined the company of Teatro delle Briciole in Parma. She made her debut as a stage actress participating in works such as Bulgakov’s Heart of a Dog (1998-1999), La storia di Cecco Rivolta (2000-2001), Frammenti d'amore (2001), Le avventure di Pinocchio (2002), Scenari del Novecento (2002), No al fascismo (2002), Vacanze pugliesi (2003) and the monologue A solo (2003). In 2001 Giorgio Croce Nanni chose her as the protagonist of the short film CAMBIAMENTI DI STATO. After working with Dario Fo and Albertazzi in the TV show Giorgio Albertazzi and Dario Fo tell the story of theater in 2004, she joined the cast of Massimo Cappelli’s brilliant comedy IL GIORNO + BELLO (2005) with Violante Placido and Fabio Troiano. The films LA MIA OSSESSIONE (2004), NON PRENDERE IMPEGNI STASERA (2006), HO VOGLIA DI TE (2007), IL RESTO DELLA NOTTE (2008), HENRY (2012), TI STIMO FRATELLO (2012), LORO CHI? (2015), UN BACIO (2016) will follow. Susy was also part of the cast of the TV drama MARIA MONTESSORI (2006) with Paola Cortellesi. In 2021 she made her directorial debut with the film TUTTI PER UMA, screened also in Giffoni, in the Parental Experience section.
