DETECTIVE BRUNO

Oscar, an eight-year-old boy, is a big fan of the series "Detective Bruno". The boy lives in an orphanage and on his birthday he finds an envelope with a clue leading to the last gift hidden by his parents. However, the actor of the series “Detective Bruno” is actually Bruno Ksieski - a burnout, cynical actor who dislikes children, experiencing a great image crisis.

Director’s statement - Mariusz Palej
"The previous films taught us that children want to be taken seriously and it is worth discussing difficult issues with them. We believe that laughter brings us closer to each other and gives us a chance to reflect. The Detective Bruno is at times slapstick and overplayed to raise the entertainment and satirical side, but at the same time we try to encourage the audience to be more attentive and aware of their participation in reality".

Director’s statement - Magdalena Nieć
"We did not target the film strictly at the youngest viewers, because real family cinema should have a wide audience. It has to be appealing both to children and adults. On the screen there is everything that children and families love - adrenaline, adventure, laughter, followed by emotion, which reminds us how important love and honesty are in a relationship. The film also raises strictly modern problems, such as the celebrity mania and the fakeness of social media, which concern everyone, regardless of age"
