Autumn, a 17-year-old teenager lives in Pennsylvania with her mother, her new partner and two little sisters. She leads a quiet life, working after school as a cashier alongside her cousin Skylar. When she discovers she is pregnant, she decides to leave, together with Skylar, to have an abortion in New York, given the difficulties she finds in Pennsylvania. She will spend three days and two nights, between interviews with doctors and psychologists and walking around the streets of New York with her cousin and a boy she met on the bus.

Eliza Hittman

Born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, she graduated from Indiana University in 2001 with a degree in theater and playwriting. She also has a degree in art and film from the California Institute of the Arts. After directing several short films, in 2013 she directed her first feature film IT FELT LIKE LOVE which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Her second film as director, BEACH RATS, premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, where she won the Director’s Award. In 2018 she directed episodes of the television series THIRTEEN and HIGH MAINTENANCE. His third film NEVER RARELY SOMETIMES ALWAYS won the Silver Bear, Grand Jury Prize at the Berlin Film Festival 2020.
