Biography

Paolo Giordano (Alessandria, July 7th, 1966) is an Italian journalist.§
He works for the daily “Il Giornale” as a pop music expert. On November 22nd 1999 he was the first Western journalist to enter Kabul after the UN embargo.
Since 2000 he has been a Sanremo Festival reporter.
In 2004 he wrote together with Maria Fida Moro, politician and daughter of Aldo Moro, and other authors, a book dealing with the Democrazia Cristiana statesman killed by the Red Brigades in 1978.
In 2008 he was part of the Artistic Commission of Sanremolab contest that allowed Arisa and Simona Molinari to participate in Sanremo Festival. He was director of Area Sanremo until 2014.
In May 2014 he was the speaker of the 14th edition of the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, organised by Arianna Ciccone.
In 2015 he was author and presenter of the programme “Pop Up” on RadioDue.
In November 2016 his book, written with Marcello Giannotti, “Vasco, Fabrizio e i Beatles spiegati a mio figlio” was released, published by Arcana.
He is the guest of many tv talk shows, among which “Porta a Porta” on Raiuno, “Mattino5” on Canale5 and “Vita in diretta” on Raiuno.
