Biography

Ana Carrasco Gabarrón (Murcia, March 10th, 1997) is a Spanish motorcycle racer, winner of the Supersport 300 World Championship in 2018.
She started racing when she was 3, in 2001 started competing with minibikes, passing through different categories: 70, 80 and 125 cm³.
She debuted in the Spanish Speed Championship in 2011 when she was 14, In the same year she became the first female pilot to score points in CEV 125cc.
On April 7th, 2013 she debuted in Qatar MotoGP, being the second Spanish woman after Elena Rosell who debuted in 2011. In October of the same year, she ranked 15th in the Malaysian MotoGP, becoming the first Spanish female pilot to score points in a MotoGP. It had been 12 years since a woman scored points in motoGP, when Katja Poesngen (Germany) ranked 14th in the Italian MotoGP in 2001.
In 2017 she took part in the Supersport 300 World Championship, racing on a Kawasaki Ninja 300 of ETG Racing team. The Portoguese race in Portimão ended with the first victory for a woman in a World Championship solo motorcycle race. She also became the second woman in the history of the Speed World Championship  to win a race. She continued racing for Supersport 300 World Championship in 2018 and she obtained two victories, in Imola and Donington Park.
In 2019 she moved to the Kawasaki Provec WorldSSP300 team.
